Or should I say there are several apps for that. Last night I had a minor energy crisis – that is to say that all the electrical outlets near my bed were being used…clocks, radios, fans, etc. So, I had to charge my phone in another room for the night. No big deal, I thought. There are clocks throughout the house and the Alarm on Dana’s phone will wake us both up. But it turned out not to be quite so simple.
I first woke up some time in the middle of the night and reached over for my little buddy only to find out that he wasn’t there (yes – I have given my Motorola Photon a human gender and a personality – don’t judge). Right…. I remembered. I plugged him in out in the kitchen…. It’ll be OK, I told myself, go back to sleep. But no – I woke up again a little bit later, wondering what time it was. It turns out that since I’m near sighted I couldn’t see the clocks and I couldn’t reach over to the other side of the bed to check out Dana’s phone without waking him up. So I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep. But my mind was racing, I kept wondering – what if something happens back East at home or at the office in London and someone needs to get in touch with me?
As wacky as it sounds, I’ve discovered that I sleep a lot better with my phone on my bedside table – I know that it will keep track of the world while I snooze and wake me up if anything happens that I can’t miss. I never realized it before, but being connected actually lets me tune out much more successfully. Go figure!
At any rate, you can bet I’ll be re-arranging a few electrical outlets tonight. I’m not spending another night without my phone…. I won’t get any sleep.

Just throw it away!!!…………………..just kidding -:)
LOL…. Maybe someday.
