By RJ Bardsley

This issue of AdWeek is dedicated to the male demographic and all of the things that the advertising world should be focused on to successfully sell things to dudes.  While I enjoyed reading about how the industry views my demographic, I was particularly interested in the section on Men and Technology.  Continue reading

Great Moments in Creative Direction

By RJ Bardsley

One of my perennial favorites, Details Magazine, ran a great piece online recently featuring great moments in “Creative.”  Creative is what we in the media business call all the concepts, copy and artwork that go into an advertising or public relations campaign.

Trend: Couch-Potato Gatherings: New apps will let friends chat about movies and television shows as they watch them together from separate places.

My Take: OK – this is great if you’re separated by great distances.  If you’re in the same city – grab a beer and watch that show together. Continue reading
